Buy it cheap, buy it twice.
"Buy it cheap, buy it twice". Your Mum probably said that to you too and recently I was reminded of my Mum's words of wisdom on two occasions.
Our pet dog's insurance had expired and so I decided to do some research before simply hitting the 'renew' button on the existing policy. On the face of it and to my initial delight there were some incredible deals to be had. I wondered why on earth we had paid so much more for the previous years' premium...lets face facts, our dog is more Scrufts than Crufts.
And then I realised that I was doing exactly what many potential Moss of Bath customers do when looking for new product, I was being lead solely by the price. So, I read the small print (there is a lot of it) and then called our trusted local vets practice for some very good advice. Having wasted time and energy, I ended up back where I had started and renewed the original policy which, although a little more expensive, was with a respected, recommended company.
The second occasion came a few weeks ago when our MacBook refused to light up one morning sending the household into a complete meltdown! Luckily for us it had been purchased from Farpoint, an independent store in Walcot Street, Bath.
Within three hours of taking it in to their shop they had found the fault, replaced the necessary parts and had called us to say it was ready for collection. A very positive experience. We may have saved a couple of pounds buying it elsewhere but that sort of service is priceless.
The complete customer service experience, including great after sales care, and a state of the art service and repair department is something that we are proud to be able to offer customers who shop at Moss of Bath.
And every now and then we should remember that our Mum's words of wisdom are usually right....except in my case with the one about eating crusts makes your hair curl.

Very apt article that was "Tweeted" today.
In my opinion, cheap often means expensive and, although budget plays a part in a purchasing decision, there is a saying that "pay peanuts and get monkeys!!"
